Claudia Siguenza is a certified and licensed bilingual Speech and Language Pathologist. She obtained her Master of Arts in Speech and Language Pathology at CUNY, Queens College in 2008. She attended the Bilingual Extension Institute at Teachers College, Columbia University. She has experience working with children ages 2-13 years of and their families in a collaborative school settings with a range of professionals. She is trained in PROMPT and DIRFloortime
Literacy approaches; Lively Letters, Fundations, Wilson and Orton Gillingham Certified in Hanen More than Words Program. She has worked on and presented on evidence-based literacy-based model at the New York State Speech-Language-Hearing Association in the Spring of 2011 and has presented teacher workshops about bilingual language development and the importance of play fo NYSAIS in the Spring of 2016. |
Dolly Gutierrez is a certified and licensed bilingual Speech and Language Pathologist. She obtained her Master of Science in Communication Disorders at CUNY, Hunter College. She attended the Bilingual Extension Institute at Teachers College, Columbia University. She has experience working with children ages 0-5 years and their families. She has worked as a home-based early intervention provider, private clinic setting provider, and in a collaborative preschool setting with other professionals, including teachers, paraprofessionals, social workers, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. She is trained in PROMPT and DIR/Floortime. She has worked on and presented workshops on sensory aspects of feeding and on bilingualism in the classroom.
Dolly Gutiérrez, es una patóloga del habla y el lenguajes (con licencia y certificada), posee una Maestría en Ciencia de los Desórdenes de la Comunicación, la cual obtuvo en CUNY, Hunter College. Asistió al Instituto de Extensión Bilingüe impartido en Teachers College, en la universidad de Columbia. Tiene experiencia trabajando con niños de 0 a 5 años de edad y sus familias. Ha trabajado como terapeuta de intervención temprana visitando los hogares de familias, en clínicas privadas y en escuelas de educación pre escolar con un equipo de profesionales, entre los cuales se pueden mencionar: profesores especializados para trabajar con niños con necesidades especiales (para profesionales), asistentes, trabajadores sociales, terapeuta ocupacionales y terapeutas físicos. Tiene entrenamiento en técnicas para terapia PROMT y DIR/Floortime. Ha trabajado y presentado talleres para maestros sobre aspectos sensoriales de la alimentación y sobre el bilingüismo en el aula.
